Responsibilities:
1. Website Development:

  • Design and develop responsive and dynamic WordPress websites, including the latest devices.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers to implement visual elements and user experience enhancements.
  • Customize existing themes or create custom WordPress themes based on client requirements.
  • Can create theme or page templates that will be reused for other sites.

2. Front-End Development:

  • Implement and maintain the front-end functionality and appearance of websites.
  • Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies to create engaging user interfaces.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness.

3. Back-End Development:

  • Customize and extend the WordPress core to meet specific project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to back-end functionality.
  • Must follow the WordPress core to ensure all the security and other codex guidelines.

4. Security and Performance Optimization:

  • Implement security best practicesto safeguard websitesfrom vulnerabilities.
  • Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and efficient functionality.
  • Conduct regular security audits and updates.
  • Must be aware of the security guides followed by WordPress and have knowledge of handling WordPress security plugins and how to recover websites from attacks.

5. Content Management:

  • Train content managers (SEO and marketing teams) on how to use the WordPress CMS.
  • Need strong commands on CMS using the mostly used WordPress back end editor.
  • Ensure the content is entered in a way that adheres to best practices and is easily maintainable.

6. Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough testing of websites to identify and fix bugs or issues.
  • Knowledge of unit testing (self-assessment of work).
  • Perform cross-device and cross-browser testing to ensure consistent performance.

7. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Managers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
  • Collaborate with other developers and designers to achieve project goals.
  • Collaboration with other teams or departments (SEO, digital marketing).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a WordPress developer (CMS + WordPress Code).
  • Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and j Query.
  • Must required Experience with responsive design and mobile development.
  • Knowledge of Back end Editors (e.g., WP Bakery, Elementor).
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks and tools (e.g., Bootstrap).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Must create a website without any errors and follow the page speed guidelines.
  • Must be aware of the forms (contact form 7, gravity, and jot form).
  • Must be aware of security enhancement steps and security plugins knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education Qualification: BCA/MCA/B. Tech./M. Tech./B.SC.IT/BE Computer

Office Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
